Lights, Camera, Action! Stacia Goes on Live TV.

I’ve been interviewed for print stories many times throughout my career. In July, I was invited to go on Twin Cities FOX 9 TV’s “The Buzz” show. I would be tag-teaming with Robyne Robinson, the arts and culture director for the Airport Foundation at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

My job was to discuss my mosaic murals, which were shown on viewers’ screens. Robyne would talk about the airport’s incredible commitment to public art. The show is taped and aired live, so there are no redo’s for too many “um’s” or the unexpected sneeze. Guests in the hot seat have to watch the producer for signals and the green lights above the cameras for “go time.”

My preshow jitters in the green room were minimal. It turned out great. And Robyne, a former television journalist and news anchor, was a perfect role model. Watch here to see the action.
