New Work at Big Tech Company
Fishing for Connection (~11’ x 4’) glass, mirror accents, upcycled circuit boards.
We just installed "Fishing for Connection" at an international tech company. An art consultant requested an imaginative idea to convey connection, movement and tech through a Twin Cities lens. We delivered this mixed-media mosaic with some fishy looking fish. Mirror adds reflection to the flowing water.
Tight budget solution: We spaced organic shapes on the wall, rather than one large rectangle.
See video of final piece in situ. And, yes, the light fixtures resemble bobbers.
The hungry eagle features representational and abstract glass shapes.
French cleats keep the artwork flush to the wall.
The fish are cut from reclaimed circuit boards.
Residential Commission Revisit

First shared in our holiday ’25 e-newsletter, this contemporary mosaic has been so popular on Instagram, that we’re sharing it again. We installed this private commission a few months ago as the feature kitchen wall in a new, custom-designed lake home.
In Progress: Massive Wall + Floor Mosaic
Huge News. Our latest – and largest ever – public art commission is happening in our studio. Last year, our proposed design was selected from 12 national finalists for a new healthcare campus in Kansas. We’re creating an abstract glass and tile two-story mosaic river that flows into the Terrazzo floor. It’s going to be an epic challenge, collaboration and result.

• Award-Winning Mosaic
Our mixed-media mosaic mural, "Dig Deep," (23’ w x 6’ h) won an honorable award at Contemporary Mosaic Art 2’s annual conference last month. This public art lives at Frostburg State University, Maryland, and includes fossils sourced by FSU students.
• Giving a Global Presentation
In February, I had the honor of virtually presenting to members of the global Contemporary Mosaic Art 2 community. I spoke on public art, gave a retrospective of my work, and did a Q&A with viewers around the world.
